I went to several local shelters looking for a puppy. I have adult cats, so a good friend suggested I get a puppy (as opposed to an adult dog) so that I could train and socialize the young pup to my cats. Our friends at Last Chance for Animals, has just sent out an alert saying that GREAT NEWS! LCA's investigation into World Kennels, a puppy mill located in Los Angeles County, results in surrender of dogs. At this time, over 60 dogs have been released, more are expected. The LCA staff is out in Lancaster, CA - more detailed information to come! Continue
