Hey Everyone:
I have posted two new videos, both announcing this year's event. We have groups registering daily, that is in addition to the 40+ we already have. There will be a vaccine clinic from 12-3, and we just got confirmation that HSUS will have their puppy mill task force with us that day.
We have posted a notice to the puppy millers that we will accept any breeding stock that they are willing to give up. No questions asked. Not sure any of the millers are reading our site but you never know.
We are actively looking for mill dogs to rescue on Awareness Day and we have arranged for the Humane League of Lancaster County to help us. Although each of us does our own rescue during the year. Once you put together over 40 rescue groups, it is hard not to take advantage of the numbers and see if we can't get some of the breeding stock out of the cycle.
If any one knows of any millers who want to give up their dogs please let us know.
The March is taking place from 1-2:30 this year. Our speakers start again right after the March and we have a rescue parade scheduled. If you have a rescue story, please submit it.
If you are planning on joining us on Friday night, kindly RSVP, as we need to count heads, we presently have over 125 coming.
Have a great week and I look forward to seeing you in September.
